Ethos Heritage archaeology dig at High Hunsley
As part of the community Ethos Heritage archaeology dig at High Hunsley, I worked alongside fellow artist Esther Cawley to facilitate creative workshops with participants on site. Using some of the artefacts discovered during the dig as inspiration, we encouraged participants to explore new approaches to drawing, scale, and observation through a variety of materials, including painting with soil collected directly from the site. The artworks produced during these sessions were later exhibited at the East Riding Theatre Gallery in Beverley.
As part of the project, I also created an original lino-cut design for the High Hunsley t-shirt merchandise.
